our ministry
Our mission is to help the Baltimore Rescue Mission with jobs that must be done. George Jones, the mission’s director, will be working on a list of jobs they need help with, such as painting or cleaning. We will have opportunities to share the Gospel as we interact with the men at the Rescue Mission. We spent time with Dr. and Mrs. Chuck Buettner and George Jones we will catch a vision of rescue missions.
Believe and Receive
Each team member will have the opportunity to serve.
Over the course of five days, our team will be involved in every aspect of the rescue mission’s ministry. This will include repairing and repainting parts of the building, serving in the soup lines, and participating in each night’s “Believe and Receive” service.
goals for the trip
One of our goals for this trip is to come alongside the national pastors and foreign missionaries to spread the gospel and aid in discipleship. Part of this is accomplished by tracting (passing out tracts), letterboxing (slipping tracts and church invitations into people’s letterbox/mailbox, which is legal there), and showing love to strangers in a variety of ways.
Depending on the abilities that our team members bring each summer, we may add new church seminars that relate to graphic design, teaching, or any other skill that may benefit churches.
