The original plan for today was to finish the painting for the outside of the building. Unfortunately, it rained most of the day, so painting was not going to be an option today. We talked with the mission director Mr. George Jones and he had an idea of something we could accomplish today. Downstairs at the mission was some flooring that needed to get broken and removed. We used a rotary hammer to break apart the floor to reach to the concrete level of the flooring. We were able to get a lot of that accomplished today.
Every evening the mission has a service for the men at the mission. Tonight, I was able to attend that service. They sang through some congregational singing, had some Scripture reading, prayer, and ending the service with the message.
